How is commission calculated on the free plan?+

Commission is 10% of the confirmed booking value, charged after the event has taken place. Commission is capped at £200 per month regardless of booking volume — so you will never pay more than that, however busy you are.

Why can't I receive the customer's contact details on the free plan?+

On the free plan, all communication passes through the WakeVenues platform so we can track confirmed bookings and invoice the correct commission. Subscribers receive the family's direct phone number and email the moment they enquire — no gatekeeper, no delay.

Can I switch from free to a subscription at any time?+

Yes — you can upgrade instantly from your dashboard. Once subscribed, commission no longer applies to new bookings. Switching back to the free plan takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

What is the Founding Member price lock?+

Venues who subscribe before each new Mémoire Collective site launches lock in their current monthly rate across that site for the lifetime of their subscription. If you join on Growth at £59/mo today, that rate applies to all 3 sites as they go live — even if pricing increases.

What happens to my listing if I cancel?+

Your listing moves to the free plan automatically. You retain your profile, photos and reviews — you will simply revert to commission-based bookings and standard placement in search results.
